SO WHAT'S IN A NAME? COVER GIRL Suz Colleen





RIBWear Annnounces Cover Girl "Suz Colleen" as the face of it's couture line. She's the absolute essence we are looking for. The innocence and the maturity of the line, that an action sports star would wear. On the RED CARPET or in steady press form, Suzy tells the story that "RIBWear" wants to show and tell as Photographer Fredd Photo journalist from "Pedestrian 84."

"I think she has great purpose in the commercial industry "Juce" Director and CEO of RIBWear states." She is not only personable but professinal, and that is so overlooked in this industry. Suzi, is disciplined and conscious of her efforts, she is very much aware of her expertise, and consciously executes it in her work. I couldn't imagine anyone else doing our cover.

Alison Macleod to take Center Stage RIBWear photography


Alison Macleod, race car drive booked modeling time for RIBWear November 19th..we are happy to announce Ms MacLeod to become part of the RIBWear fashion forward race girl. We give great presence to have the opportunity to shoot Ms. McCleod..
Over talks for two years, to get to this point to take presence over many female drivers who want photoshoots with RIB..,RIB doesn't discrimate but promotes totally the woman in racing..
For the woman who is secure with her look, appeal, her demographics to booost her fan base. and to show her featured as the driving force to keep women behind the wheel..
Ms. Macleod promoting and supporting RIB as her go to force outside the racing genre' and on to the streets..will do a fashion shoot..exemplifying RIBs' free force to go beyond the dream of racing, for a racing girl to achieve her own line of racing couture...ever..!

RACE GIRLS - NOT FOR SISSY'S


There are very few Danica Patricks' going on..out there.  Behind female racing is a man's business, and the way to get through I don't believe is concentrating on not challenging a man but by being the best race car driver you can be, and adding a bit of your elegance of your femininity. Sponsorship is very difficult, and many of the drivers I have associated, downplayed, and gave no credit to the Danica Patricks' out there. Which to me I thought funny until I found out the real reasons behind the scenes. I would have thought that they would have too, that they felt she open doors to more successful careers in racing. That adding your femininity and bit of glam every once in a while was a good thing! It was just the opposite, they said "they believed she made it more difficult because of her sexy displays; they were not thought as of serious by their male peers."  I think I designed my collection for them to be strong, stated and yes feminine enough not to be intimating for them. Now, I am all about making points, but if your going for the bucks ladies, which keeps you in your car driving, which is what makes wins. Without sponsorship, and behind the wheel time your getting no where fast! Excuse the pun! 
If, your going to compete you have to have wins which very few get an opportunity to do, even if they are great drivers. The sport is so expensive. It's one thing to have a dream, but it's another to create the atmosphere..to make those wins happen. That means financing! Racing is a expensive business over all, not just the driving time, but racing has been known to have it's prejudice in many different formats.  Masculinity is not an attractive feature to get you sponsored say some of the fans, but a lot of them are afraid to show their femininity till much later in there careers, because they tell me "you just won't get the respect."  I've spoken to a lot of people, men and women, with my time that I feel very honored being invited behind the track scenes. The public want to see a woman they can identify with, that's just plain ole' marketing. I truly believe that is a huge part of Danica's success.  The line I created was in hope to assist the female racer in receiving that sponsorship from entities that you are not finding pasted all over their cars. Hoping to subtly assist her by promoting someone that is identifiable with the rest of the girls and women out there. A different Venue so to speak; that there is a reason why Macy's would carry the line, and sponsor you. Hoping to bridge this gap is a very difficult task, but as we are keeping our eye on the girl, she's keeping her eye on the track. I hope we all get a chance to capture the gold ring, and maybe RIBWear will be there to help them catch it.

RIBWear ~ It's Mission for Excellence

revving up a whole new generation of clothing for racers and racing enthusiasts.

The founder of “Rock it Baby” and “RIB Wear,” Juce Peterson, has created something new in the auto racing apparel industry. A new generation of women is breaking on the racing scene, and with them the need for clothes that reflect their “life in the fast lane” world with style and panache. Juce is working with some of the best and most beautiful up-and-coming racing talent in the nation today; Alison Macleod,Toni McCray, Kristian Alexis, Annalese Thorp, LeaAnne Powell and Sean Murphy, designing high-end couture and activewear for this new breed of female role model and icon.

To cater to the these athlete’s fans, Juce started “FanClub49” to help these new, sports stars to market themselves with all manner of fan-oriented merchandise – from T-shirts to calendars.
She assists them in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-quality, straight-from-the- racetrack apparel and products.

Realizing the importance of the fans in the growth of the racing industry, Juce has also started “Finish Line – Where the Girls Come First.” A line of activewear geared to the female racing enthusiast, but with the same innovation and attention to detail as her “Rock it Baby” couture.
The racing culture has become “the” new, hot spot for girls to show off their trendy gear - the car is their latest accessory – and Juce sees unlimited possibilities for womens motorsport clothing.

Another aspect of the “Rock it Baby” brand is producing events for autoshows and similar venues, showcasing her “Rock it Baby” model athletes. She provides clients with a complete package to enhance the experience of attending a high-end automobile or other motorsports event. Recently, the Oasis Event Center opened in L.A.’s garment district and featured the “Rock it Baby” models, decked out in Juce’s innovative designs, in a high-energy cabaret performance of music and dancing that stopped the show. It became necessary to remind the enthusiatic audience that they were attending a fashion show, such was the crowd response.

Plans for the future include partnerships with upscale retail stores and involvement with other sports apparel companies to help market new talent.
She also wants to use her clients to begin a program of personal appearances in Metro-area L.A. schools, not only to publicize racing, but to show kids that driving is not all there is to racing; to introduce them to all that goes into the sport in the way of engineering and technology, and to encourage them to set goals, dream big and focus on education as the way to achieving them.
She has also set her eye on the extreme sports industry with particular attention to the needs of women in those sports.
Juce also sees a great future for “Rock it Baby” as a fundraising tool for the non-profit sector.

The idea “Where the Racetrack Meets the Runway,” suggested to her by her mentor, is the perfect description for the emergence of women in motorsports, and Juce intends to be there to help them look and do their best.
